Start & access
Start your studio day
Use Overview to find the class, attendance, enrollment, or billing work that needs attention first.

01 · Outcome
What you’ll accomplish
Build a clear starting point for the day: confirm your studio, check the schedule, and open the detailed record behind the next task. Overview is a starting point; the class, family, or billing record supplies the details needed for a decision.
02 · Prepare
Before you begin
- Sign in with your own staff account. Have the date you are working on and any handover notes from the previous shift available.
- Know which decisions you can make yourself and which need an owner or manager. Seeing a summary does not necessarily give you permission to change its records.
03 · Workflow
Step by step
Confirm your workspace
Check the studio name and your account in the workspace before opening family records. If you work in more than one role, check the responsibilities shown for this session. Resolve a wrong studio or account first; a familiar dancer name alone is not enough to identify the correct workspace.
Open Overview
Choose Overview from the main navigation. Read the available summary labels as well as the numbers. A studio total, an attendance figure, and an open balance each describe a different area of work. Use the summaries to decide what needs review, then open the corresponding detailed page before acting.
Check the day’s schedule
Open Schedule or the Full schedule link. Choose the relevant Day, Week, or Month view and check the displayed date range. Review the classes, rooms, and teachers for your shift. A schedule filter can hide otherwise available classes, so confirm the location and teacher selections before concluding that a class is missing.
Choose the matching work area
Use Attendance for a dated class roster, Enrollments for class placements and waitlists, Billing for a family’s financial record, or Communications for sent messages. Choose the area that answers the actual question. For example, a full class needs an enrollment review; its website visibility does not establish whether a dancer has a confirmed seat.
Review the record before changing it
Confirm the class or family name and any effective date on the page you opened. Read the current status, relevant warnings, and available actions. Use the detailed guide for that workflow before saving a change. If your screen is read-only, collect the question for the responsible colleague instead of assuming a save control is missing.
Confirm the result and move on
After an authorized action, wait for its confirmation and check the updated record. An edited field or selected attendance status may still be unsaved. Record any unresolved question in your normal studio handover process, then return to Overview or Schedule to choose the next task.
What to expect: You know which records were checked, which actions were confirmed, and which questions still need an owner.
04 · Check
If something does not look right
The workspace shows a different studio or role.
Stop before changing records. Check the account you used to sign in and ask the owner or manager to review your studio access. Tell them the studio name and role shown, plus the task you need to do. Do not use a colleague’s credentials to continue.
A summary does not explain a family’s question.
Open the relevant class, enrollment, or family billing record. Summary figures are useful for deciding where to look, but a family question often depends on a particular date, placement, or transaction. Check those details before explaining an outcome or making a correction.
An Overview item will not open.
Look for the same area in the main navigation and check whether your role can access it. If the work belongs to your responsibilities, report the page and what happened to a manager. A restricted action needs an access review, not repeated attempts to open it.
